Riccardo Barone is a composer, a conductor, a pianist and a music teacher. He spontaneously started to play the piano at 2 years old, without any guidance. During his long studies and his 2 Master Degrees at the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella he started his career as a composer and pianist performing more than 200 concerts till now. He wrote more than 200 compositions for any kind of instrument and orchestra. He is the founder of the “Venerdì 17 Orchestra”. He organized a Master Class in “Bel canto Italiano” with students of Taimen Academy of Siberia. He won the first prize of “Antonio Manoni International Composition Competition”. His score “Evasione IV per sax contralto e organo” has been published by Berben editions. One of his many specialities is to improvise music for silent movies. He recorded for “Classicaviva editions” some of his piano compositions. He wrote the soundtrack for the S. Nicchiarelli’s short movie “Il linguaggio dell’amore”. He published ten music albums; the last one “ Introspective journey” has been realized for music therapeutic purposes. In his music Academy in Italy he had a large piano classroom of 45 all ages students. He’s been teaching in primary governative schools conducting his 120 children’s choir. He moved to Adelaide looking forward to bringing life back into culture. Art, history, literature, theatre, psychology, philosophy, science and love are the meaning of his life.
